"Sukiyaki" in a Ductile Deep Pan [Iwatetsu Recipe]
This recipe is "Sukiyaki".
This is an on-the-table recipe that makes use of boiling, one of the uses for the ductile deep pan.
[Ingredients (serves 4)]
・300g beef loin for sukiyaki
・2 green onions
・200g shirataki noodles
・1 bunch of Enoki mushrooms
・1 block of grilled tofu ・4 shiitake mushrooms ・200g Chinese cabbage
・Half a bunch of chrysanthemum ・Beef fat (or salad oil) (as needed) ・One egg per person
[Sukiyaki ingredients]
・100ml dark soy sauce
・100ml mirin
・3 tablespoons of sugar
・200ml water
【How to make】
1. Preparation of ingredients Beef: Cut into 2 equal pieces.
Shirataki: Parboil and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Shiitake mushrooms: remove the stems. Green onions: cut diagonally into 1cm pieces.
Grilled tofu: Cut into 8 equal pieces.
Chinese cabbage: roughly chopped.
Shungiku: Cut into thirds.
2. Mix the warishita ingredients together to make the warishita.
3. Heat a ductile deep pan 24, melt beef fat (or salad oil) and mix evenly. Turn the pan to low heat, add the ingredients and simmer.
4. Once cooked, remove from heat and serve at the table. Serve with beaten egg if desired.
