Ratatouille made in a ductile pot

Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 can of whole tomatoes 2 eggplants 1 tomato 1 onion 1 zucchini 1 clove of garlic 2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon consommé granules
1 bay leaf Salt to taste Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
(1) Dice the tomatoes into 3cm cubes. Peel the onion and cut it into 3cm cubes. Cut the eggplant and zucchini into 2cm-thick half-moon or chrysanthemum-shaped pieces of uniform size. Cut the garlic in half and crush it.
(2) Add olive oil and garlic to a pot and place over low heat. When the garlic is fragrant, add the onion, eggplant, and zucchini in that order.
(3) Once the oil has been distributed throughout the pot and the surface has lightly browned, add the can of whole tomatoes, roughly crushing them, then add the consomme and bay leaves, cover and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
(4) Add the tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes, then add salt and pepper to taste and it's done!
