~Ingredients~

・Amount of rice and rice cooker (iron pot) to use
1 to 2 cups for ductile pot 16

1.5 to 3 cups for Ductile Pot 20

2 to 4 cups for Ductile Pot 22

For ductile Dutch ovens, use 1 to 2 cups

You can cook it in.

・Water
A good rule of thumb is 1.15 times the amount of rice.
Adjust the cooking time to your liking.

Water required for 1 cup of rice: approx. 200ml
Water required for 2 cups of rice = approx. 410ml
Water required for 3 cups of rice = approx. 620ml
Water required for 4 cups of rice = approx. 820ml


~How to make~

1. Wash the rice and drain in a colander.

2. Place the washed rice and the specified amount of water in a ductile pot and soak for at least 30 minutes .

3. Cook uncovered over medium heat until boiling .

4. Once the whole mixture starts to boil , reduce heat to low and cover .

5. After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and let it steam for 12 minutes.

6. Remove the lid and mix well with a rice spoon.
